- Merintis, menyelenggarakan, dan mengkoordinasi kegiatan dalam bidang karya ilmiah.
- Berhak mengadakan kerjasama dengan pihak eksternal dalam bidang karya ilmiah dengan persetujuan Ketua Umum.
- Menggali, menumbuhkan, dan membina serta mengembangkan
kreativitas dalam bidang karya ilmiah untuk anggota UKM PP pada
khususnya dan mahasiswa Politeknik Negeri Semarang pada umumnya.

PROGRAM KERJA
Proker dari departemen karya ilmiah yang di tujukan ke suluruh warga
Politeknik Negeri Semarang yang bertujuan menambah ide dan bertukar
ilmu mengenai PKM. Yang biasanya dilaksanakan pada bulan November
Program hibah bina desa adalah suatu proker dari departem Karya Ilmiah
yang bertujuan untuk memajukan potensi potensi di suatu desa atau guna
memcahkan suatu permasalahan yang ada di desa tersebut.
AGENDA
Agenda pelatihan karya tulis ilmiah ini adalah agenda dari departemen
karya ilmiah untuk intern PP (anggota aktif dan STO) yang bertujuan
untuk melatih anggota PP agar aktif menulis dan nantinya dapat
berpertasi khususnya di bidang Karya Ilmiah.
Yang dalam pelaksanaannya Satu bulan sekali selama satu periode kepengurusan
Untuk mencari acara acara perlombaan perlombaan dari internet maupun
universitas lain yang nantinya kemudian informasi lomba tersebut di
bagikan ke seluruh anggora UKM PP.
